Project Linus Event – Faith Harvest Church

Saturday, March 18th, 9 AM – 3 PM EDT: Faith Harvest Church (4850 Kingston Hwy, Lenoir City 37771). We will be in the lower level of the church with a kitchen including a microwave and fridge. The location is near Wampler’s Sausage on highway 70 in Roane County on the Loudon/Roane county line. It’s easy to get to off of I75 in Lenoir City or I40 at the Oak Ridge/Gallaher Rd. exit.
Do you know about HUGS for Heroes blankets? They serve a special purpose for our military families. Come join us on 3/18 to make some of these darling blankets.

Or do you just love to sew and make quilts? Grab a friend and join us for this event to make quilts! This event is for beginning sewers/quilters to advanced sewers and quilters. Bring any cotton or flannel (particularly patriotic and military patterns (camo, etc.). We will also have materials to share. Bring your machine and quilting/sewing supplies. Don’t want to do a HUGS blanket? That’s fine, bring other blanket making supplies to work on.

Lunch: Please bring a covered dish to share for lunch. Water and soft drinks will be provided.
Karen Feltner and Sandy Rees will be our hosts. You can bring your own scraps to share also. There will be irons available or you can bring your own. Also, we will have some quilt kits for sale for you to take home with you.
