DONATE

Welcome to the Project Linus of East TN Fundraising page.  Funds help to mail blankets for Snowball Express, purchase supplies we need, take advantage of opportunities for highly discounted fabrics and yarn that we can share with volunteers at meetings, provide a limited amount of fabric and yarn to volunteers that can not afford to purchase it, print the newsletter for those that don’t get email, and more.

Click here to view and print a fundraising letter that you can use to ask your friends, family, business associates and others for a donation. You can simply print the letter off and sign it, you can cut and paste the info into an email, attach it to an email, etc. If you are not in a position to help at this time, that’s ok – we appreciate your support in many other ways. However, for those of you that can assist, your participation would be greatly appreciated.

Over 2,500 children across East Tennessee are helped by Project Linus of East Tennessee each year with the gift of a handmade blanket during a very difficult time in their life.  Blankets are made by over 500 volunteers and groups throughout East Tennessee.

Your donation makes a big difference:

  • A donation of $25 will pay for fleece and supplies to make a teen blanket.
  • A donation of $50 will pay for shipping one box of blankets to children that have lost a parent serving our country attending Gary Sinise’s Snowball Express camp (https//www.garysinisefoundation.org/snowball-express).
  • A donation of $10 will pay for flannel to make 2 baby blankets such as for babies born premature and in a local hospital NICU unit.

To give online go to https://www.projectlinus.org/donations/ and be sure to designate the EAST TENNESSEE chapter for your donation.
