Scrapy Quiltmaking Day

May 15, 2021 10am – 2pm

Ever wanted to learn to make a quilt top or a scrappy quilt?  Or do you just love to sew and make quilts?  Grab a friend and join us for this outdoor event to make scrappy quilts!  This event is for beginning sewers/quilters to advanced sewers and quilters.

May 15, 2021  10 AM – 2 PM  at Faith Harvest Church picnic pavilion at 4850 Kingston Highway, Lenoir City TN 37771.   The pavilion is covered with a bathroom and kitchen including a microwave and fridge so feel free to bring your lunch and/or drinks.

We will be making quilts using scrappy fabric squares.  We will have donated squares in several sizes, 6.5 inch squares, 5 inch squares and 4.5 inch squares.  We will also have scraps for making crumb quilts.  We will have pattern ideas available also.

Bring a yard (or more) of a solid or blender fabric, your machine and quiltmaking tools. You can bring your own scraps to share also.  There will be irons available or you can bring your own.

Please wear a mask when moving around the pavilion area.

Also, we will have some quilt kits for sale ($10-$15) for you to take home with you.
