Guidelines

  1. Have Fun – All PL Volunteers, Friends and Family are welcome to participate.
  2. Make a donation of $10 to Project Linus of East Tennessee and receive one quilt challenge kit.
    1. The package will contain at least 2 different kinds of cats and/or dogs themed fabric of a yard or more total.
    2. Quilt kits are available at the Fiberology Lab in Oak Ridge. They will also be at the Winter Meeting on Feb 22nd.
    3. If you want to order by mail, please send a check made out to Project Linus for $12. Send to Deb Miller, 365 Dean Dr., Ten Mile, TN 37880.
  3. Make a completed quilt to donate to Project Linus (quilted, bound, etc.) by October 1, 2020 using at least ½ yard of the fabric in the package. You can add other fabrics to it to make your perfect “It’s Raining Cats and Dogs” quilt.
  4. Submit the quilt through a regular drop off location or at a Project Linus of East TN event or by mailing to Deb Miller, 365 Dean Dr., Ten Mile, TN   All quilts should have a sealed envelope attached (pinned) to the quilt with the name of the submitter inside.
  5. Quilts will be voted on at the Fall Meeting by the attendees.
  6. The winner will receive a basket valued at $100 or more filled with goodies including gift certificates.
  7. Runner-ups will also receive a small prize.
