Guidelines

  1. Have Fun – All PL Volunteers, Friends and Family are welcome to participate.
  2. Make a donation of $20 to Project Linus of East Tennessee and receive one quilt challenge kit.
  3. Where to get your kits:
    1. The Fiberology Lab – Click here to order online
    2. Twisted Sisters – available June 4th in the store, must pay with cash or check (made out to Project Linus)
    3. At a Project Linus of East TN event (June 11 at Faith Harvest Church and July 16 at Twisted Sisters)

  4. The package will contain at least 1/2 yard of “VROOM” fabric (fabric with wheels) and another yard or more of coordinating fabrics.
    1. You can purchase kits at Project Linus of East TN events.  If you want one mailed to you, please add $10 for postage.
  5. Make a completed quilt and donate to Project Linus (quilted, bound, etc.) by October 1, 2022 using at least approximately ½ yard of the fabric in the package.  You can add other fabrics to make your creative “VROOM” quilt.  Quilts should be finished – quilted and bound.  No specific size requirements.
  6. Submit the quilt through a regular drop off location or at a Project Linus of East TN event or by mailing to Deb Miller, 365 Dean Dr., Ten Mile, TN  37880.  All quilts should have a sealed envelope attached (safety pinned) to the quilt with the name, email and phone # of the submitter inside.  Mark the outside of the bag VROOM Project Linus.  Email, text or call Deb Miller (contact info below) and give her your name and where you dropped off your quilt entry.
  7. Quilts will be voted on in Fall 2022.
  8. The winner will receive a prize valued at $100*.  Runner-ups will also receive a small prize.  An individual can only win one time even if you submit more than one quilt.
