Project Linus of East TN Blanket Making Sewing Day
Hosted by Atomic Fibers
Saturday, March 10, 2018
10 AM to 3 PM
Atomic Fibers has graciously agreed to host a Sewing Day on March 10 in their new expanded space at their Oak Ridge shop. We will have plenty of room to spread out, sew blankets, tie quilts, label blankets, and more.
We have several activities planned that will help new participants learn about and help Project Linus. Newcomers will see example blankets that work well for Project Linus. Newcomers also will have the opportunity to talk to current volunteers and get all their questions answered. Everyone will have time to work on their projects and more.
You may bring your sewing machines or bring your knitting/crocheting along. We will have a few machines available and some fabric if you don’t have a project to work on.
Sewing Days also are great times to drop off finished quilts or blankets or donated fabric and yarn.
Drinks and ice will be provided. Feel free to bring your own lunch. There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you want to run out and get something.
Hope to see you there!
Please contact Deb Miller if you have questions or plan to attend the Sewing Day.
