Let’s make some blankets for children with a matching book. These will be given to children in traumatic situations near the holidays.
You make the blanket – the book is supplied.
Be creative – match the colors of the book, find a way to incorporate a design (caterpillar, flower, etc.), “counting” theme in book, etc. – you decide!!!!
Blankets should be 40” x 40” or larger designed for a child ~2-5 years old.
Put the word CATERPILLAR and your name on a card and stitch or safety pin to the blanket. Leave at a PL drop off location by November 15, 2021 to be entered in a drawing! We will attach a book to the blanket.
See the book at The Fiberology Lab (Oak Ridge), Yarn Patch (Crossville) & on most internet bookseller sites. More info at https://projectlinuseasttn.org/caterpillar-fun/ or contact Deb at [email protected]
